As leading company in the production of polyethylene films, Manuli Stretch acknowledges its responsibility of creating environment sustainable products that, even during the production process, reflect the organisation's commitment to respect the security and the ecology of society.
In compliance with such principles, the Management identifies the following guide lines as reference for the establishment and review of environmental objectives and targets:
1. reducing the amount of wastes, promoting internal reuse,
2. minimising the use of raw and non-recyclable materials,
3. contributing to the planning and creation of products and their sets, as to minimise the exploitation of resources,
4. reducing the exploitation of natural resources, paying special attention to energy.
The Plant Manager, as representative of the direction for the Environmental Management System, is given full authority to set about the guide lines and the principles of this policy within the organisation and to pursue its objectives by means of adequate management programmes.
This policy will circulate within the organisation and outside it, even with the aim of supporting in employees, in the public and all those who work with us, the awareness of the roles that are played for the overall improvement of environmental performances.
