STRETCH FILM FOR PALLET WRAP

Manunature is a revolutionary product which combines cast LLDPE film’s protective strength with a special additive to give a 100%-degradable film. The biodegradation process begins only under specific conditions, given by the combined effects of sunlight, mechanical stress, microorganisms and temperature which, in a few weeks’ time, reduce the volume and the molecular weight of Manunature film. At the end of the process the oxidized particles are degraded into carbon monoxide, water and biomass. Suitable for many automatic-wrapping machine applications, guaranteed min prestretch 200%, is particularly indicated for baling solid waste. It is not recommanded for storing products outdoors, exposed to the sunlight for long periods of time or for maritime transports, where temperatures inside the containers can exceed 80°C. Manunature film complies with the ASTMD 6954-04 prescriptions on degradability and with European Directive 94/62/CE, which requires the total content of heavy metals to be less than100ppm.

**Prestretch percentage refers to the increase in length corresponding to a max. 10% reduction in width. E.g., 100% prestretch means that 1 metre of film having a width of 0.5 metres becomes 2 metres with a width equal to or more than 0.45 metres.

**Films bearing the letter SC and CS will guarantee a slippery surface on the outside of the pallets. The aim is to avoid the risk of them sticking together on contact, thus preventing damage to the wrap and ensuring the safety of operatives. The SC version is slippery on the outside and sticky inside; the CS version is sticky outside and slippery inside.
